Dunor was an egalit beastfolk that lived hundreds of years ago, among the first generations of the hybrid magical creations of the wizards of Sascria. He was freed by his master after he demonstrated a personality and knowledge that convinced the master that he should be treated as human. He became a hero of passive resistance to the human control of beastfolk and was martyred when assassins sent from the School of Dominion.

Many modern beastfolk still revere him as a way to gain respect from humans through peaceful means rather than gaining vengeance against them for centuries of abuse.
