Jarvia Cladis is a Sascrian Witch-Hunter who appears near the end of our first adventure module. She is a female Human LE Bard 4/Sascrian Witch-Hunter 4. She was recruited to the Witch Hunters not long after the Collapse, and eagerly joined the new order given that at the time she did not know if her spellcasting ability would ever return. Three years later, she is embittered by the loss of her abilities, and has turned this bitterness into even more motivation for her particular work.
Jarvia is always accompanied by her two bodyguards, a Lupine Fighter named Ironclaw and a Human Wizard and member of the School of Adamant named Ander Numis.
Hooks
- Jarvia is secretly very bitter and jealous toward her wizard bodyguard - he found a way to retain his magical ability, whereas she has to steal hers from others
- Jarvia is very smart, but has little patience. She can be drawn into taunts or boasting, is the kind of person who might reveal her "evil plan" at a dramatic moment, and she may not always stick to a plan in the heat of the moment. In brief - PCs can find ways to manipulate her, and this might be key to defeating her in the module, since she and her bodyguards are a handful for a party of level 5 characters...

I wonder how she would interact with Knavarro? On one hand he might pity her eagerness to serve as misguided since from his experience he knows it's all politics and she most likely will not get what she wants. He also might try to nurture her hatred of magic users for his own agenda. I like her!
