Because I can't sleep anyway, and I liked the name - a Polish spirit of the west wind, and a storm-themed Oracle.
Brittle bird bones
I think it would be interesting for Egalit to have lighter bones than average, and maybe to take extra damage from crushing attacks. It could be paired with an extra 5 move or something, representing their light weight and maneuverability...though this is not the kind of racial trait that other races have (the extra damage) in Pathfinder (maybe I'm thinking of 4e vulnerability).
What is the source of the race's name, Egalit?
The wings feat that they can
The wings feat that they can take might be too powerful so maybe adding some damage vulnerability would be good.
Egalit is just something I made up with eagle as a sort of root. It's very flexible if someone comes up with a better name.
Ornithes?
Since there are more types than just eagles, how about Ornithes? Maybe Ornithians? Singular Ornithus. Fits with my habit of using middle-order Latin names for the beastfolk races, and that's the subclass that encompasses all modern birds.
I get the impression that Jengar is probably an Egalit/Ornithus - is that true? Dude needs a write-up. I'm thinking a scholarly rogue, sort of like Indiana Jones...
The beastfolk names could
The beastfolk names could vary depending on where they were created, so we don't necessarily have to follow one pattern. I'm not opposed to the bird of prey having a latin name, but ornithian feels like a tough one to say for me. ;)
Maybe the brittleness could
Maybe the brittleness could be linked to the Avian Wings feat? Some Egalit are born built to fly, while the majority are a birdlike-but-terrestrial species...
