As someone new to this process, I am very excited about jumping in and helping. I recognise that this might mean that I land squarely on someones toes. That is not my intent, and if I do so, please let me know.
In working on collaborative projects in the past I have discovered that my way of creating place holders, inserting sketch ideas, but not completely fleshing out the concept can create the feeling that I am trying to make it all mine. I wanted to try and dispel before it happens. I am a visual artist. I will always get a visual idea first when there is a blank on a map. I want to be transparent in the fact that I like a pretty, well lit, visually dramatic area. My own taste toward evil is that of the too beautiful to resist. I know that this can be at odds with those who prefer evil to look dark and dangerous.
When I create a place holder with a quick verbal sketch, it is just that. a preliminary sketch. I want to give others a chance to say I saw it this way, or for reasons of internal consistency it has to be this way. I will also tend to create a place holders where I am looking for information.
If this way of doing things will cause problems for anyone, please let me know.

Perfect use for the "Stub" status
The stub status (and to a lesser extent the draft status) are perfect for what you're describing. Stubs are great starting points, but they may end up completely different by the time something is complete.
