Would anyone be interested in trying out an online game session of the Dark Golden Age via infrno.net? They offer a virtual RPG hosting environment with webcams integrated. I would be able to run the games I ran at Gen Con with little preparation if people were interested. I'd also be interested in trying something similar using MapTools and Skype.

So how did this go
Did this get off the ground? Is there still room for new players?
The initial call for players
The initial call for players didn't get an immediate response, but maybe your threadomancy will get it going. What's your usual availability for a game? What aspect of the Dark Golden Age are you wanting to explore?
I made a profile on
I made a profile on Infrno.net, and with enough warning could probably be free for a session some week-night (eastern time) or maybe a Sunday night, with some spousal negotiation :)
I'm "robosnake" on Infrno also
How do these dates sound as possibilities?
I am in Illinois and so evening is about 7pm to 10pm CST for me.
Thursday, August 19 - evening
Friday, August 20 - evening
Saturday, August 21 - anytime
Sunday, August 22 - anytime
Wish I could, but ...
I have a rather big but when it comes to answering the post.
I would like to ** B U T **
- I manager over 3500 machines on a network spanning 4 states.
- I have a number of application upgrades between now and 30 December
- I have a couple of conventions and training siminars lined up before then
- I wanna finish Gondal before too awful long (3 weeks)
With alla this work I find myself heading to bed around 3:30 or 4:00 am and then getting back up at 7:00 : /
I am getting too old for that sorta thing, or maybe that sorta thing is making me feel old.
This sounds cool, sure.
This sounds cool, sure. Ideally if we can talk about when to do this a few weeks in advance, my chance of making the time free increases a great deal. My schedule is full but flexible if that makes sense. But yes; and I'm downloading the Beta of Infrno.net now
I am open for trying, but I
I am open for trying, but I am completely unfamiliar with the software mentioned, and I am just learning the Pathfinder gaming system.
Same for me on the software
I only became aware of the software at Gen Con. As for the Pathfinder thing, it is less of an issue. I have run Pathfinder (or D&D 3.5) for all levels of experience, and I'll be provided characters for this which simplifies the process for someone new to Pathfinder.
