I've been getting some GameMastery Map Packs for a while, but one thing I always run into is that they like to slip around on a playing mat. I've also been wanting to try out Gaming Paper. Gaming Paper is cheap, so I decided to pick up a roll from Armored Gopher, my FLGS. Gaming Paper is $4 and is 30 inches wide, 12 FEET long. You can use wet and dry erase markers on it, and you can supposedly use permanent marker as well which can still be erased.

While I haven't gotten a chance to use them in a play session yet, some tests I did are already looking positive. I was able to use poster mounting putty to stick the map tiles to the gaming paper, and it kept the tiles in place perfectly. I'm really excited to start picking up some more map packs to give a really rich look to the maps I draw out.
