The Paizo post is actually pretty helpful. I'd like for the Beastfolk to line up power-wise with the other races, but I would also like them to be very unique - i.e. not just turtle-shaped Dwarves or Mongoose-shaped Elves, etc., with original racial powers that other races do not get.
For anyone - feel free to post on races I've created if you think they are too powerful/not powerful enough.
Too powerful: "Why would anyone not play this race?"
Not powerful enough: "Why would anyone play this race at all?"
Etc.
When I get a chance, I'll go through the races I've put up and maybe even give them numbers based on this post, just to make sure none of them are 12, or 6, or whatever
For the race breakdown, I'd definitely like to go through and change the format for each of the race listings so that they match PF as closely as possible. Ideally, I want to be able to cut-and-paste them into our adventure scenario and use them with only very minimal changes where layout is concerned

Useful advice there.
And to aid standardization of submissions, I offer my variant of the Pathfinder racial template:
*Race Name*
Short description of the race.
Personality:
Physical Description:
Relations:
Alignment and Religion:
Adventurers:
Names:
*Race Name* Racial Traits
• *Statistic Modifiers*: a brief explanation why.
• *Race Size*: the size boiler plate for that size.
• *Race Abilities* a +4 circumstance bonus to resist such spells.
