Brondel

This town is slightly north of central Sascria. Being farther away from the frontier, it is slightly more secure for Sascrians and less so for others.

Shadeland

Status:
Draft

Shade is the general term used to describe a ghost or haunting spirit in most human populations. However after the Collapse, some places became more common locations for hauntings and undead. These places in the wilderness have been labeled Shadeland and typically are found on old battlefields, sites of mass slaughter, or the lands of particularly evil magical beings.

Sascrian Highway System

Status:
Draft

In the decades before the Collapse, Sascria established a network of magical roads. The blood of pegasi was added to a loose mixture of ground stone. This mixture was spread along the path of the highway with wizards using Fabricate to form the mixture into a smooth surface. The pegasi blood enabled enchantments that effectively allowed travelers to float a few inches above the surface.

Free Tesaya

Status:

Free Tesaya is perhaps the most diverse land in the Dark Golden Age. It is a melting pot, where anything can be found for a price.

Tesaya was a golden land, before the collapse. Golden, anyhow, for the mageocracy. The land was tilled and planted by beastfolk. Buildings were constructed, block by block, with the sweat and the blood of the beastfolk. Many tasks that would have been done by magic elsewhere were tasked to the slaves instead, merely because a wizard couldn’t be bothered to spend a few minutes of his day away from his leisures.

The Sarkan Tribelands

Status:
Stub

The tribelands are not a nation, but the homeland of the different tribes of the Sarkan people – or at least of the Northern tribes, as there is a smaller tribal population further south in Ustern as well. The Sarkan steppes are officially a part of the Kingdom of Rhyrghia, but due to the immense sociocultural differences between the Sarkans and the Rhyrghians and the very limited influence of the High King, this affiliation is mostly limited to the official titles and a few symbolic tributes the tribesmen pay.

Sascria

Status:
Draft

Internally

Sascria is the last realm in the known world where the old magocratic social order has not changed significantly. The towns of Sascria – the realm has no large cities – are still ruled by wizard councils, the rural areas are still mostly untouched and full of wild and dangerous creatures, and the majority of the population has heard the propaganda of the superiority of the Gifted over mundane people (called “the Soulless” in Sascria) that they actually started to believe it.
